Guacamole

Start with the proportions below and tailor to your taste.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 heaped tablespoons finely chopped white onion
  • 3 heaped tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 1 clove chopped garlic
  • 1 serrano, chopped (take out the veins and seeds if you don't like much heat)
  • 3 Haas avocados
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Sea salt

Process onion, cilantro, garlic, and serrano in a food processor until finely chopped. (You can do this by hand as well.)

Half the avocados and scoop into a medium bowl. Squeeze the lime juice over the avocados and roughly mash with a fork or potato masher. Mash in the onion mixture, leaving texture chunky.

Serve with fresh tortilla chips and a margarita!
